Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev wasn't content with just a one-day celebration of her quarter century birthday.
The brunette star shared a cupcake with Extra host Mario Lopez on Friday, a day after turning 25 with a special commemoration with her best girlfriend Julianne Hough and her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder.
On Friday, the day after her birthday, Nina made an appearance on Extra where host Mario presented her with cupcakes, one of which she gamely took a bite out of.

For her Extra appearance the actress wore a black, leather-trimmed A-line short skirt showing off her sexy legs, a white blouse and a black jacket.
Her dark hair was worn down and she still had her black manicure from the awards show the night before.
The highlight of her outfit was a pair of yellow, high-heeled sandals with a large, black-and-white butterfly adorning each heel.

After winning the 'best onscreen chemistry' People's Choice Award with Vampire co-star Ian on Thursday, Nina received a surprise cake from Julianne, which she shared with her former flame.
'Happy Birthday my beautiful @ninadobrev,' tweeted Julianne, also 25. 'You are kind, smart, adventurous, loving, honest, beautiful, mysterious, free, funny, and so on and so forth..... I am so lucky to call you my best friend! I love you so much... My sister! Happy birthday ya ol' fart!!!'
The tweet was accompanied by a photo of Julianne, in a beige sweater, hugging Nina, who is wearing a grey sweatshirt over her awards show gown with her glamorous updo, and kissing her on the cheek.

A second, similar, shot from Julianne is captioned: 'I love this woman so much!!!!!!'
Also on Thursday, Vampire Diaries writer and executive producer, Kevin Williamson, tweeted a photo of the girls, joined by Nina's co-star and friendly ex Ian.

Nina and Ian ended their real-life relationship last May after three years together, but their on-screen romance remained strong enough to win an award.
The pair showed that they still have chemistry while picking up their trophy.
Nina and Ian's Vampire Diaries characters Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore still have a sizzling relationship on the show.
Dobrev had a brief relationship with Julianne's older brother Derek. The pair dated for about six weeks last fall.

Other celebrity followers include Cheryl Cole and Nicole Richie.
